Trekking in natural parks in the western and central parts of the island where you will watch and listen endemic birds like Cuban Trogon, small Cuban emeralds and Cuban Toddies. This program includes visits to colonial cities.

  - City tour, including a visit to the Natural History museum and a conference about Cuban birds.

  - Transfer to Viñales in Pinar del Río.

  Day 3

  - Tour in Viñales valley to watch Cuban Toddies, Cuban Grassquits, pigeons, warburs,                       Colaptes Fernandinas and Cuban Solitaires, etc.

  - Departure to the hotel Mirador in San Diego.

  - Trekking “La Serafina”. Bird watching (you will have the possibility to watch Cuban Trogons,         Cuban Toddies, etc. Possibilities to take a bath in San Juan river.

  Day 7     
  - Breakfast and check out.
  - Departure to the National Park Ciénaga de Zapata.
  - Visit of the crocodile breeding farm and Taino’s Village.
  - Lunch.
  - Bird watching in the area protected by CITMA.
  - Departure to Playa Larga hotel.
  - Accommodation.
  - Dinner.

  Day 8     
  - Breakfast.
  - Departure to “Salinas de Brito” protected area. Bird watching (you will see greater flamingos,   
    herons, roseate spoonbills and wood storks.
  - Picnic lunch.
  - Departure to Hatiguanico river. Walking on boats and bird watching (you will see: least grebes,
    cormorants, gallinules, etc.
  - Return to the hotel.
  - Dinner.

  Day 9

  - Treeking ¨Santo Tomás¨. Bird watching (you will see endemics birds like a Bee Hummingbird,
     the smallest bird in the world)
