Region.

An ancient ceremony taking place in Havana ever since the 18th century.
Enjoy the military ceremony with real soldiers attired with 19th

the Morro-Cabaña Military fortresses.

Río
Canimar.
Snorkeling, a visit to the very impressive Saturno’s Cave and
a boat ride through the beautiful Canimar River with a stop over to

Seafari Cayo Blanco.

Varahicacos Natural Park.
It preserves the largest and best kept echosystems of the Hicacos
Peninsula. There you will visit the Laguna El Mangón, the
main water reserve in the area, and two interesting caves, Ambrosio(ceremonial
site) and Musulmanes(dwelling site), both with a very high archeological
value.

El Nicho Mountains.
Just 46 km from Cienfuegos, a very exciting excursion to the mountains
will tae you to El Nicho, exuberant conglomerate of water falls, cascades
and ponds in which you will be in direct contact with nature and have
a Cuban typical lunch.
“Full Steam”.
A tour on a 19th century locomotive will take you around the Cuban
countryside, visit a garden, a hand sugar cane mill, enjoy a folkloric
show and taste a local drink. The locomotive will make a stop over
at a farmer’s house to sip an aromatic cup of Cuban coffee.
Yaguanabo arriba.
An excellent opportunity to ride on horseback along the Valle del
Río Guarabo and watch the beautiful flora and fauna of this
valley. The visitor will also take a dip in natural fresh water
ponds with crystal like waters. You will also exchange with local
dwellers, know the local community school , speak to the farmers
and have a taste of cubancreole white cheese, milk, fruits, natural
juices, home made sweets and coffee.

The iron road.
Tour around the Valle de los Ingenios on a train pulled by a locomotive
from 1919 as far as Manaca Iznaga and Guachinango Casona, where visitors
will watch costumes, old buildings and unforgettable landscapes.
Parque El Cubano.
El Cubano, at a height of 250 meters above sea level, is an attractive
place for nature lovers. You will walk the trail “Cimarrones
de Javira”, which tells the history of an old regional family
and slavery. At the end, the incomparable “Salto de Javira”,
a beautiful waterfall with a natural swimming pool.
Parque Guanayara.
Internationally known as “Casa de la Gallega”, at a
height of 550 meters above sea level, it’s the perfect scenery
for a world of adventure. There you will find the trail “Centinelas
del Río melodioso”. During the walk you will get in
touch with natural values related to the river. You will be able
to swim in the beautiful waterfall “El Rocio” and the
transparent and tranquil waters of the pond “El Venado”.
Parque Codina.
Hacienda Codina, 600 meters above sea level, catches its visitors
in its charm. The trail “Codina’s Charms”will
take you to discover the Cave of the Altar and the Caribbean lookout
point, with a unique and relaxing view.
El Caburní.
An interesting trail that will get you in contact with charming
landscapes, with endemic species of flora and fauna, peculiar rocky
formations and outstanding geographical features ending up at the
Caburní waterfall. It’s a National Monument and a symbol
of Trinidad’s Escambray mountain range.
Vegas Grandes.
Walking tour as far as the Vegas Grandes waterfall, all surrounded
with coffee plantations, natural woods and species of regional fauna.
At the end of the tour, the impressive 150 meter high waterfall
and its natural pond where the visitor will be able to relax and
rest from the long walk.
